Do a search and you'll see how annoying the software can be. Free for sure but you'll begin to see messages like "Media player out-dated - click here to update". Removed it and this kind of banners immediatly disappeared. Do not install it!
It's a viewer for God's sake, not an editor! It says so right on the label. The lack of an editing function is irrelevant.
If you can't read the label, why should we trust your opinion? What your review should have, but did not, include:
How well (quality or speed) does it render the docs?
How good is the UI?
Since it's free, what is the business model? Adware? Spyware? Publisher reputation? Nagware?
Looking around the Internet, there are a lot of negative comments about the publisher. Bitberry Software: Bitberry uses the InstallIQ web installer which adds lots of adware bordering on spyware, posts glowing reviews of its apps on community forums while disguised as a user, uses an installer that makes system changes and mods the registry to track a user. A picture of a not very ethical company quickly emerges.
Totally blocked opening e-mail attached documents, as the 'open with...' path is not available there.
With no control panel or user interface to set how it operates. Strongly against using it.
The program itself won't install if you decline to install all other useless software.
